Under the French flag, Maxime Thefenne rode KWPN gelding Narcos to third place. The descendant of Baloubet du Rouet out of a Clinton mare was bred in the Netherlands by T. Verbeek.

The top five was completed by BWP's Sonora III (by El Barione III Z, mv. Vigo D' Arsouilles, bred by Harrie Theeuwes Stables) who was ridden to fourth place by Poland's Mateusz Tyszko. Belgian Wout Neven signed up for fifth place with Cherma STS Z (v. Comme il Faut, mv. Emerald vh Ruytershof, bred by Frank Jennen).
