• Virtual General Assembly 2020

With the impact of Covid-19 and the resulting continued uncertainties, the WBFSH General Assembly 2020 was held for the first time as a web-conference instead of a live event, hosted by British Breeding, an umbrella organisation for all sport horse breeders and studbooks in the UK.

    General Assembly 2020

The WBFSH was proud to collaborate with British Breeding for the WBFSH General Assembly 2020, and thank Eva-Maria Broomer and Rachael Holdsworth for their continued technical support.

British Breeding is an umbrella organisation for all breeders of sports horses and ponies in the UK, providing support to all the studbooks registering sports horses and ponies, including the UK WBFSH member studbooks: the Anglo European Studbook (AES), Breeders Elite Studbook for Irish & European Sporthorses (BE/SIES), the British Hanoverian Horse Society (BHHS), Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain (SHBGB) and Warmblood Breeders Studbook Society (BWBS).

Simply put "What WBFSH is for the world, British Breeding is for the UK". British Breeding's aim is to promote breeding in the UK by running stallion events and the British Breeding Futurity Young Horse Evaluations. For more information on British Breeding visit https://british-breeding.com/

The DSP studbooks, the original hosts of the WBFSH Annual Meetings 2020, had graciously agreed to host the WBFSH Annual Meetings in Dresden in 2021.

There were no limitations on the number of representatives from each studbook, and everyone was able to register free of charge. One representative from each studbook was able to vote.
