Treasurer of Young Breeders
Membership of the International Young Breeders organisation is available to all WBFSH Studbook members. In some instances the studbook takes the initiative within their country/ region to also manage the education programme which is offered to the Young Breeders. However, other collaborations exist whereby studbooks partner with an education body / volunteers perhaps who are interested and enthusiastic to provide the training with the support of the studbook concerned.
Whatever the arrangement the studbook must be involved in so far as teams/ individuals are entered in World Championships to represent a specific studbook and therefore the studbook shows the support by completing the membership of the IYB.
Twenty six studbooks across 12 countries are currently members of the International Young Breeders (IYB) for the 2022/23 period including:
