In the seven-year-old category, Nicolas Touzaint, who was leading in dressage and cross-country, lost the lead with his Selle Francais-registered Cornet Obolensky son Gauguin du Busson as a result of two poles and 8 faults, and ended up in seventh place overall. The British Thomas Carlile and his French Anglo Arabian mare, Golden de Beliard (by Upsilon x Jalienny, Breeder S.C.E.A. De Beliard), emerged as the shining winners and new world champions, with 28.3 penalties. The pair were the 6 year old World Champions in 2022.
With a difference of only 0.1 points, Lara de Liederkerke-Meier and her SBS registered Kiarado d'Arville (by Diarado x Jet Set du Rezidal, Breeder: Five Star Eventers & Larga SPRL) followed in second place. Third place was taken by Astier Nicolas (FRA) and Selle Francais mare Gravure De La Mouline (by Eldorado De Hus X Que Guapo, Breeder Astier Nicolas, Christophe Germain, S.A.R.L. Ecurie Brillant) with 28.7 penalties.
In the six-year-old category the leading pair after dressage and cross-country, the Millie Summerland (GBR) and her KWPN gelding Mojo, had to give up all title dreams after two poles and 8 faults in the show jumping, ending in 9th place. This cleared the way for Izzy Taylor (GBR), who was in second place after the cross-country, and her Cevin Z-Kuwait Beach XX daughter Barrington Alice (aka Allercombe Alice), registered with the Sport Horse Breeding Great Britain (SHBGB) (Breeder Susan Holroyd). They ended on 26.9 penalties.
In second place, with 27.7 penalties, was Stephane Landois (FRA) with his Selle Francais gelding Hermes Du Gevaudan (by Quintus D'09 X Quality Touch, Breeder: Véronique Landois). Amanda Goldsbury (NZL) and her ZANG registered mare Cooley On Ice took third place with 28.8 penalties. Cooley On Ice is by Cicero Z X Diamant De Semilly, Breeder: Cooley Farm.
