With two 10s earned for both submission and perspective and the greatest score of the class for his walk, i.e. 9,8, Danciero (Dancier x Floriscount) total score was 86,829. “It is easy to be a good rider on this horse, he gives so much of himself”, beams rider Anna Kasprzak. “He gave me an amazing feeling today; he felt a bit more focused than Friday and his walk was better as well. I am super happy with the result but even more with his progression” she added.
Danciero’s breeders, Zg. Broers U. Weber, couldn’t be more proud of their Champion: “As a foal he displayed good paces and quality, but nothing made me suspect that he would go on to achieve such great things. And what a level-headed temperament, Danciero even seemed to enjoy the prize giving ceremony. In Verden he got silver with Eva and now gold. A dream.” A change of rider for the gelding that went really smoothly and is nothing but promising!
Silver medal was once again awarded to Global Player OLD (Grand Galaxy Win T x Blue Hors Don Schufro) and Leonie Richter, 2022 World Champion of the six-year-old horses, with 3 marks above 9,4 and an overall score of 83,129. The black stallion bred by Henrik Hansen once more made a deep impression on the jury: “His walk is clear, covers a lot of ground and his extended walk is fantastic. We expect and hope this horse has a bright future ahead of him in dressage. We could also call him ‘Global Charmer’”.
The last couple to complete the podium was Lightning Star (Ferguson x De Niro), bred by T. Wilaras, and Kirsten Brouwer with a score of 81,779. The duo that already was awarded 3rd place in 2021’s edition of the World Championships in Verden pipped Diaton and Nicole Wego-Engelmeyer at the post and seized the bronze medal of this 7-year-old World Championship.
Needless to say that this 7-year-old Final did nothing but confirm the great potential of the World Breeding Dressage Championships’ past winners!
