The WBFSH turns 30 this year, and what an exciting time it has been! From small beginnings, our organisation has grown and continues to grow in its mission to support breeders all over the world by forging stronger connections with the sport and through our unwavering commitment to celebrate and strengthen the bond between humans and horses through the promotion of equine health and welfare.

Our anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the many transformation and new initiatives we have seen over three decades that turned the WBFSH into the vibrant and multifaceted organisation it is today.
Look out for our monthly newsletters, each of which will focus on a particular event from our history, providing an opportunity to remember the many people without whose dedication to breeding and to our organisation we would not be where we are today.
Around the World with the WBFSH
As part of our 30th Anniversary Campaign, we will be taking our international audience of breeders, riders, owners and studbooks on a virtual journey around the world, giving our members the exciting opportunity to showcase their country, its breeding industry and their role in it!
We are organising monthly webinars that are free to join and enjoy. These will also be recorded and published via our social media and website channels.
This is a great opportunity to showcase the diversity of our community and raise the profile of our worldwide members. It is truly fascinating to see how sport horse breeding has grown across the globe thanks to the passion and hard work of our member studbooks. Above all, this is also an opportunity to learn from each other as we face new challenges from social responsibility to climate change.
