  • The 2023 General Assembly has taken place in Orlando Florida at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Orlando Airport

On Sunday 15th October 2023 the WBFSH General Assembly took place, with 70 studbook representatives from 19 countries.

President Jan Pedersen welcomed the members and represented his report of the year. The annual plan for 2024 was presented. In recent years there have been matters relating to the Rightful Breeder of a Horse. This was already discussed at the General Assembly in Dresden. A definition was presented that is to be a recommendation that can be universally applied for breeding across international borders. It was recognised that individual stubdooks may want to continue to use the definiton that is applicable within their countries, if such a definition exists.
