We are reaching out to invite our non-European members to participate in an upcoming seminar session to be held at the WBFSH GA-2026 in Dublin (IRE), that aims to provide a platform for non-European members to share the unique challenges and opportunities faced by studbooks and breeders in their regions. This session is part of our ongoing efforts to better understand and support the global equestrian community.
We are focusing on four non-European regions:
- North America
- South America
- Asia-Pacific
- Southern Africa
For regions with multiple studbooks, we encourage collaboration so that the region can present a collective perspective, while still highlighting any important differences within the region. In Southern Africa, with only one member studbook, the presentation will naturally reflect the single perspective.
Each region will have approximately 15 minutes to present. A Q&A session to allow for discussion will follow.
We hope this session will allow non-European members to voice their perspectives, outline regional challenges, and share ideas on how the WBFSH can provide meaningful support. Your participation will be invaluable in ensuring that these voices are heard and considered in our global initiatives.
In order to finalise the programme in the few months, please let us know at your earliest convenience if your region would like to participate, and if you have any questions or specific requirements for your presentation. We look forward to your contribution and to facilitating a constructive dialogue that strengthens our global community.
